FUNAAB TO Admit 3,500 Out of 31,500 Applicants for 2012/2013
monitoring the conduct of the Post-University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (POST-UTME), at designated
Centres on Campus.
Professor Oyewole stated that prior to the conduct of the
examination, Management had determined the number of candidates that could be offered admission, based on the capacity of facilities on ground.
Professor Oyewole revealed that with the parameter used, with a sincere approximation of existing facilities, the
University may not be able to Admit more than 3,500 students for the 2012/2013 academic session.
According to him, “last year we had 20,000 candidates for the post-UTME, but right now it has increased to 31,500. We have made appropriate plans to accommodate new students; our capacity may not go beyond 3,500 students”.
Speaking further, Professor Oyewole stated that “our intention now is to improve on our facilities by building new classrooms and providing more learning aids to accommodate additional students”.
This is what we call survival of the fittest. We wish all Myschoolcomm users good luck this year. We know you will make it.
